Supporting Moth and Noa’s Future
In her final weeks, Heidi focused on securing a spot for Noa to be able to join Moth at The Pacific School of Innovation and Inquiry (PSII), a school that supports growth, curiosity, and resilience - just what Heidi dreamed for them. She also put in place an educational trust fund with the hope of securing this path.
The cost of tuition is the only thing that could keep her wish from being realized. In order to support this path that she has very intentionally cultivated for her children, please consider contributing to help ensure it moves forward.
Let’s get Moth and Noa together at PSII this coming September and beyond!
Moth will have one year left after this school year, and Noa will have three. Ongoing support is needed!
Moth's graduation year! And last year with double tuition!
Heidi believed deeply in meeting children where they are. She understood that each child has a unique learning style, and she felt strongly that education should nurture curiosity and passion—not conformity. Having homeschooled her children for several years, she knew their learning strengths and challenges better than anyone. Traditional learning models often leave little room for individuality, and Heidi sought a school environment that would celebrate what made her children who they are.
She found that in The Pacific School of Innovation and Inquiry (PSII), a learner-centered school designed for students who seek a different structure for their education. PSII helps learners develop unique inquiry pathways that serve as umbrellas for projects and other learning activities, allowing for personalized, interdisciplinary curricula.
Moth has thrived at PSII this school year, forging meaningful friendships and diving headfirst into their love of writing in bold, exciting ways. For Noa, whose passion for all things tech has always been clear, PSII offered the flexibility and imagination to shape his learning around that interest. Though younger than most first-year students, the school saw in Noa what Heidi had always seen—potential, creativity, and drive—and welcomed him for September 2025. Just as importantly, Heidi knew that PSII would keep her children together and supported in her absence, in a community that honors their individuality and growth the way she always did.
